A PICTURE
2004, book, 253 pages, Edition of 12, 20,7 x 13,9 x 1,5 cm
A Picture breaks down a digital photo into its component parts, the source code. It becomes semiotic and paradoxically unreadable. Although it’s not apparent the picture still exists, it captures the poetic space of the syntax and in its information glut it is bound into a book.
